Get to Know Schwabe's Automotive Center In Southeast Edmonton

Schwabe's Automotive Center is a family-owned and operated auto repair shop serving Southeast Edmonton from the same location since 1985. We’re proud to have earned a reputation in the community for being honest and reliable, and fixing vehicles right the first time. Harry Schwabe started the business after working as a journeyman auto technician at Esso for many years, and his son, Rick, joined him in the shop around 2000. Rick, himself, became a Red Seal Journeyman in 2003.

Carrying Forward a Family Auto Repair Tradition

Today, Rick and his team carry forward the Schwabe family tradition of providing honest, quality auto repair to drivers in Southeast Edmonton. After buying the business from his father in 2010, Rick came full-circle, ready to run the shop where he had been working since he was 14 years old. Now with nearly two decades of automotive experience, he is a general auto repair expert who is also the hometown mechanic you can trust to give you honest car care advice and friendly service.

ShirleyOffice Manager
Shirley is one of the friendly voices you’ll hear when you call Schwabe’s Automotive Center. She has been working in the service station and auto repair industry for longer than she will admit, and she’s been an important member of our team for over 20 years.
BlairService Adviser
Blair has been around cars his entire adult life, although he is the newest member of our team. He brings us a wealth of knowledge from working in various positions in the auto dealership and aftermarket world.

JeffJourneyman Technician
Jeff has been working for our family business for 35 years. He is dedicated to getting your vehicle fixed correctly and on time. As the lighthearted guy in the shop, Jeff is always making people laugh.
TrevorJourneyman Technician
Trevor, Journeyman Technician Trevor has been a valued technician for 20 years at Schwabe’s Automotive Center. He is dedicated to his craft, and he is our resident GM expert. But that doesn’t mean he shies away from other makes—Trevor has the skill to work on any vehicle. He takes great pride in getting the job done right the first time.

DanApprentice Technician
Dan is our Apprentice technician and has been with us for three years. He is the muscle in our shop. The only thing bigger than his strength is his heart. Dan is always quick and happy to help.
